EARLY AND ABSENTEE VOTING BY MAIL

Voting by mail is available to ALL voters for the September 1st State Primary and the November 3 State Election (Presidential Election). You do not need an excuse to vote by mail this year.


To vote by mail, all you need to do is:

Complete a Vote by Mail Application.

Deliver your Vote by Mail Application to the City Clerk’s Office by (choose one option):

U.S. Mail to City Clerk, 166 Boulder Drive, Fitchburg, MA  01420

E-mail to vote@fitchburgma.gov

Hand-delivered to the City Clerk’s Office by placing it in the secure RED Mail-Drop Box in front of City Hall (166 Boulder Drive).

To ensure timely delivery of your ballot, it is recommended that you submit your application for a November ballot no later than October 20. Applications received after October 28 cannot be accepted. 

Please apply early in order to allow enough time to return your ballot.

State Election ballots need to be postmarked no later than November 3 and must be back to our Office no later than November 6.
